AI Generated is a series of digital images generated as a result of the training of algorithms based on artificial intelligence.

The outputs show patterns, shapes, colors and styles identified by the algorithm in selected works of art used for the training of the machine. These experiments aim to study and highlight features of image that emerge uniquely through visual processes  and to investigate features that are beyond meaning or semantics, but that affect them in many ways, often unseen and unexpected.

The works in this series were created through machine learning based on image datasets by the painter Elisabetta Cardella.

Once the digital outputs were obtained, the images were repainted by the painter, creating a loop between human and artificial learning.
